My nan taught me to knit when I was young. As I was growing up, every winter was spent with Nan watching our favourite Rugby League football team play on TV and knitting. It was a lovely ritual and a wonderful experience. These days, when I pick up my needles, I think of my nan and the amazing gift of knitting that she gave me.
