CALANTHIA SHAWL
The promise of Spring with buds about to burst into flower inspired this design. Named for Beautiful Flower in Old Greek, Calanthia is a wide and shallow crescent shaped shawl.
Worked from the top down, the easily memorised lace - evocative of budding flowers - gently flows into the edging, which features highlights of the little flower bud lace pattern. Light and airy, it is perfect to throw over the shoulders on a cool morning. The pattern is provided with written instructions and charts for the lace. Please note: While gauge isn’t crucial for this shawl, the finished size will be affected by any differences. US $8.50
